Which Amp should I get for my guitar?
Right now I got two on my list. The Vox Valvetronix AD50VT 50w and the Fender Frontman 212R 100w. I want to play rock; alternative and metal type music. I might join a band in a year or two after. Any suggestions?

I've fooled around on Marshalls, Crate, Line 6, Fender, Peavey, and the Vox amps before at Guitar Centers before...
and I've narroed my choice down to Marshalls & Vox over all those other amps.
Between the Vox and the Fender you mentioned. No contest...the Vox wins!!! Because it has Celestion speakers and better wide range of effects, channel - wise in it. The Fender has volume...but the channels are OK. I wouldnt buy a Fender amp though. I totally love "Nu metal" channel on the Vox...absolutely smokin!!! With Vox...you just plug in and play....that's it... Also, check out Marshalls and Randalls too for metal.

KISS, Good Charlotte, Disturbed, George Lynch, Sevendust, Darrell Dimebag (RIP) have all used Randall amps. That should tell you something there...they are all hard rock or metal Bands / Artists.
