how can you tell a product is original or a copy?
there are thousands of companies in China ( and not only ) who produce brand name clothes without having licence to do that. After they export their products to US, some of them reach the stores where we shop every day. So, when going to a shop ( Marshall, TJ Max or whatever) how can one tell if he just bought an original product or a copy? ( Buying from brand name outlet is a prove enough that we but original products and not copies?)
You can't tell. Stores tend to buy their products from their suppliers. But many stores may but products where and when they can get them. These are generally less known smaller companies. National chains are more likely to have genuine articles. It is particularly difficult with clothes. With some other products, it is easier to see if it is a fake.
