How do I connect my laptop to my amps (powered mixer) to my speakers?
I've got a G743AA powered mixer and 600 watt speakers, but i'm clueless on how what everything is and how to connect the speakers to the mixer to my laptop...
The speakers connect to the mixer with footswithes, but there are 2 footswitch ports on the back of each speaker and i don't know which i should use, or where to connect the other end to on the mixer....in the "master equalisation" part where it says "inputs" (AUX and FOOT SW) or "outputs" (MAIN and REV/AUX) or on the other side of the mixer where it says OUTPUTS with a caution sign?....
Then how do i connect my laptop to the mixer? What cable do i need and where does it connect to the mixer and where would i connect it to my laptop?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx
Connect one end of the speaker cable to one port (doesn't mater witch one)on the back of speaker and the other end to the output with a caution sign.The laptop can be hook up to AUX input and you will use the aux controls from the front panel of the mixer.Also use MAIN VOL to increase the volume.
