Fender Product Question?
I currently own a 2010 Fender USA Strat and a crappy little micro cube amp... i am this close(-) to getting a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Deville, or Blues Deluxe off of ebay. But recently i saw a B-E-A-UTIFUL Fender Strat USA made from 1989 on ebay and now im stuck between getting better amp or getting another B-E-A-UTIFUL guitar. i need some sense slapped into me... HELP ME!!!! thnx
As a guitar owner, you will always and forever find another guitar that will captivate your attention to the point of losing interest in other (usually more important) priorities. Realizing that this is the case, and that no matter what you acquire there will be another gem coming along in the future, it becomes easier (but not simple) to convince yourself to refocus on your current needs. I regularly watch specialized Fender Stratocaster listings on eBay and Craig's List (I stay out of stores; much too dangerous), and have to say I am more that merely tempted to add just one more guitar to my modest collection. Amazing how one of those calculated looks from my wife is enough to snap me back into reality; seriously, a decent amplifier would (logically) win out over a second guitar. Best regards, Dana
