Does anyone know where I can find hard rubber or plastic rounded corners/edges for a metal cabinet?
I am building an aluminum cabinet for my shop and I want to put some type of rounded edges and corners on it for safety. I would like for the rubber or plastic piece(s) to wrap around all of the edges and corners. I have seen the foam corner protectors for children but I don't think that they would hold up in a shop environment.
Just go to to your local hardware shop and buy rounded wooden beading to go on the corners. Their shape makes them safe enough. It's as safe as what rubber would achieve anyway.
Alluminium is soft enough for shaving the corners off aswell.
