Can I plug a Mic into a guitar amplifier or do i need a seperate item for the mic?
I need to practice at home, im not going to play at gigs and concerts
i just need to have a mic and a guitar in the house to sing and play.
Can i buy a guitar beginner kit that comes with a amp and plug in a mic to it?
I know you cant do it at the same time but can i take out the guitar then put in the microphone?
Unless the amp has a microphone jack input on it, then you'll need a direct box to go between the mic and the amp. If you have two inputs on the amp you can do the mic and the guitar at the same time, but BE CAREFUL or you could overload it. I'd recommend just doing one at a time.
