How do I wire an electric pickup into an acoustic guitar with the equalizer/preamp thing?
I am trying to install a telecaster neck pickup into an acoustic/electric guitar. How do I wire it? I also have the original equalizer that I would like to wire it through. Any help will do because I'm pretty stuck. Thanks!

Seymour duncan.com has wiring diagrams. The thing is, to wire it through that pre-existing EQ has a very slim chance of sounding ok, since everything about that EQ is different than an electric guitar pickup.
The idea will be. Mount it on the guitar, run a cable in the guitar through to the output jack, and replace the strap hanger on the end with a straphanger/output jack.
This will be a unique and difficult project.
